Flowers at the Museum

NY in Bloom

Most days, admission to the NYS Museum in Albany is free. Once a year, they charge a admission for NY in Bloom. As a fund raiser for museum programs, area florists and garden clubs present beautiful displays throughout the museum. By Sunday, the last day of the show, some of the displays were looking a bit droopy, but I was able to find some fabulous blooms in vibrant colors that left me wanting for Spring!

Back when a crew to keep an eye on the things, a caboose became the standard last “car” on a train. Red was just a traditional color, and the cupola provided an elevated point of view to inspect the train.
