Easy, moderate, strenuous…those are the general categories to describe Adirondack hikes in all the books. Hmm…now I know the definition of strenuous! The false sense of security generated in the ease for the first 2 miles, hid the grueling climb of the last 1 1/2 miles. The end was worth the means with a magnificent view of Indian Lake and the surrounding area. A climb up the fire tower even provided a 360 degree view.
