Outside Looking In

A pathway called the Cliff Walk meanders along the shore of Newport, Rhode Island for 3.5 miles. Public access to the shoreline has been hotly debated by the wealthy estate owners, but the Rhode Island Constitution granted the public “…privileges of the shore to which they have heretofore been entitled.”
