“Meet Me Under the Clock”

As we walked into Vanderbilt Hall, the main waiting room for  Grand Central Terminal, I was struck by the magnificent architecture in which I could imagine the glory days of the railroad magnates. It is fascinating to see this architecture mixed with the modern day “necessities” such as electronic timetables, escalators, and the world’s largest Apple Store. But in the center of this hall, perched for all to recognize, is a timepiece known as one of the most famous meeting places in the world….at least in the movies.
