Faceless Portraits

Recently, I participated in an image competition where the assigned topic was “faceless portraits”.  While at an old cemetery, I wandered all the way to the back of the property. When I turned around, I saw the backs of all the headstones…no names or dates. The stone marks a person’s death, but there is a life  represented too, that can no longer be seen, but longs to be remembered.
